Welcome To The
I knew this discussion had to be shared and the Friday Night BeerBlog (FNBB) and subsequent podcast episodes on Redesigning Midlife were born. Join us every other week as I publish the blog, but also produce the FNBB podcast version where we discuss and disagree a lot. All in fun. And usually over a beer.
As I worked through imposter syndrome and began to gain confidence in this blog, I asked my husband, Mike, to sit and listen to it each week. The discussion and the midlife male perspective on the topics was lively to say the least.

Life is too long to stop learning in our midlife. Culture and our surroundings will never be frozen in time. The days will pass, the years will slide by, and the world will change. And when the world changes, we need to change.
Every male that is involved with a woman of a certain age will be faced with menopause, too. And while he might not experiencing all of the symptoms, it is important for him to know where he stands and what he can do to use that “I’ve gotta fix it” mentaility.
It is okay to rest. Besides all of the benefits that I have listed above, know that you will not lose any fitness if you give your body and mind what it needs with a recovery day. Look forward to them. Reward yourself with them. Just wait, they are going to take your performance to the next level.
Every woman’s experience with menopause, the blues or even depression, is unique. What works for one woman may not work for another, so it’s crucial to find an approach that suits your individual needs. Remember, you’re not alone in this journey, and seeking help is an important step towards finding relief and reclaiming your well-being.
