There can certainly be a moment of “let down” after reaching a goal. You’ve been climbing this mountain for so long and at the top, the pinnacle, all there is a drop on the other side. I encourage you to look back to the days of the grind and take a tick.

Making the hard decisions and learning to accept whatever comes of these changes will bring you more success, a more enriched life, and satisfaction that you have done the best thing for yourself.

What we need at this time in our relationships is face time. Not necessarily talk time, although that is great too. But as we are growing our careers and raising kids, real face time can be ignored or sacrificed for everything else.
