The coaching call I had with Lesley was wonderful...like sitting down with a trusted friend. She not only heard my concerns and goals, giving me feedback and suggestions throughout our call, but she went ABOVE and BEYOND doing research to help me with my specific needs! I shared with her that I was a former runner who has been sidelined recently by a few injuries - the workouts she sent my way specifically addressed building up the weakened muscles without causing more strain. These exercises, as well as a few other suggestions, have been SO incredibly helpful. And the best part...Lesley didn't just have our conversation and send me a few resources - she's been checking in on me and my progress! The accountability piece has been remarkable!!

Lesley is so personable and positive. She listened to what my health goals were, asked me about what has worked for me in the past, and then designed a personalized plan with practical ideas to help me reach my goals. I really appreciated the healthy meal ideas and the exercise recommendations.

Finding myself here in these words on this screen feels so surreal, but natural at the same time. I’ve spent a lifetime wanting to educate, entertain, and encourage and have found various ways to do that through my career, my hobbies, and my work with kids. It feels like all of those roads have led me here.
Where is here you ask? Here is in front of you, letting you know that it is okay to put yourself first when it comes to your midlife health and wellness. We, as women, are and have been the backbone of so many “life operations” and if we don’t take care of ourselves, mentally and physically, it’s proven that things around us don’t run as smoothly. I’ve seen this in action over and over.
All I know is that you deserve to feel worth the investment. You deserve to feel good in your body. You deserve to be your absolute best as you age.
Sister, you deserve it all.
If you are ready to put yourself first for a change and grab the reins over what you can control, then I am here for that and for you. No fear. There is no pass and no fail; just you trusting in yourself and knowing what you need.
LET ME HELP YOU GET STARTED
A: If you are READY to commit, this course will work for you. Any self-improvement needs full buy-in from you to get the results or to reach the goal that you have for yourself.
A: Unfortunately, there are no refunds once the program has been purchased and started. You have lifetime access, so if the timing is a little off for you, you can begin the program at any time.
A: The problem most people have when they start a program like this is wanting to see results right away. And when they don’t, they get discouraged and quit. You have to be aware that good change takes time. It’s a process and a decision / choice you have to make every day. But if you do that and are consistent, then results will come. Those results happen faster for some than others, just be patient.
A: You wouldn’t be the first. I, too, get a little nervous about investing in myself. It’s funny how we never blink an eye to pay for or invest in things for others, but when it comes to ourselves, we hesitate. But there is a breaking point where you must put yourself and what you need first.
As opposed to a gym membership that is only good for a month or a treadmill that could turn into a clothes rack, this Midlife In Motion course is one that you can repeat as a whole or in parts, along with a living support community to keep you motivated.
A: Working out at home is so convenient. Just find yourself a clear 5x8 area and some hand weights (free weights) to get started. You can find those at Target, Wal-Mart, sporting goods stores, or second-hand shops.
Start with just some smaller weights – 3 to 8 lb. weights. Work up from there. The resistance bands are available at Amazon.
A: This program was designed to be a starting place for women who want to prioritize their health. It is ONE PIECE of a long journey for all. If you have significant goals for weight loss or better nutrition, you should expand your health team to include your physician and a licensed nutritionist. And if you need more “hands-on” personal training, definitely find someone local that you can work with and go to with specific questions.
A: I do offer a 1:1 zoom Midlife In Motion KickStarter Call for anyone that wants to begin the program by working with me to review what is working for them, what is not and help set some 30-day goals to get on track. I don’t have many of these slots available each month, and they are first come, first serve, so I usually don’t offer them broadly. But if this is something you are interested in, email hello@lesleylmcshane.com and all of the information to book will be sent to you.
